Sleep, Ahh Glorious Sleep!

What Would You Do for a Good Night’s Sleep?

Billions of dollars are spent every year trying to achieve one of the single, greatest contributors to health and healing – SLEEP.

The pharmaceutical industry wants to give you false, drug-induced sleep, which leads to early morning grogginess that can last all day. In addition, these drugs are proven to be dangerous, while some are being questioned as an underlying reason for Alzheimer’s. No one needs sleep this way!

What is causing a lack of sleep? It can be hormones, adrenal fatigue, even caffeine addiction, but the thing I find most often is toxicity of the body. The good news is that if you rid the body of toxins, you can discover sleep in a whole new way – the way it was meant to be!

I think you’ll enjoy Carolyn’s experience with how she found sleep after 5 years of restless nights with our 14-day Detox Program.

Sleep, Ahh Glorious Sleep!

It’s been 5 years since I Slept through the Night!

Sleep has been a fleeting encounter for me for the past 5 years. I can fall asleep quickly, but wake around 3 a.m., unable to get back to sleep. It is rare when I actually sleep through the night.

Coffee was my morning saviour! I’d drink 2 cups, sometimes 3 to get going. I was never hungry, so I would skip breakfast. At work, I would drink tea and if I needed a late afternoon boost, I’d have another cup of coffee. After work, I looked forward to having a couple of glasses of wine to relax.

A close friend told me about your Detox and said it would help me to sleep through the night. I didn’t believe him, but after 5 years of not sleeping, I was willing to give anything a try!

The first three days without coffee were challenging. I had no energy and difficulty concentrating at work. I just wanted to lay my head down and take a nap. I felt better on Day 4. My energy returned and I was able to concentrate. On Day 5, I slept through the night! I couldn’t believe it when I woke up and it was morning!

I was hopeful the following night, and I did it again. I slept all night long! And again the next night. My appetite also returned. I looked forward to drinking a green juice and eating the soup.

Losing weight was not one of my goals for the Detox, but I am enjoying the benefits! By the end of the first week, my pants were loose and I was constantly pulling them up. I am now shopping for all new clothes, as I’ve lost 2 sizes!

I am thrilled to be sleeping all night. My energy level is consistent through out the day. I start every morning with a cup of hot lemon water instead of coffee. In fact, I haven’t had a cup of coffee in the past month and don’t miss it.
