Natural Relief for Allergies
Allergy season is here! If you haven't noticed, then you are NOT one of
the 40 million people in the United States suffering from allergies.
OTC (over the counter) drugs may provide some temporary relief, but the long term harm is a steep price to pay. Believe it or not, all allergies begin with the health of our gut, and can be improved with nutrition.
I found one answer in a place I least expected. Aloe Vera plant is considered a miracle plant because of the multitude of curative and healing benefits. Aloe Vera leaves are filled with a gel containing vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, C and E, and folic acid, as well as a wide variety of minerals copper, iron, sodium, calcium, zinc, potassium, chromium, magnesium and manganese.
Aloe is safe to use externally and internally, and many around the globe use this plant for treating various health
conditions, from minor burns to cancer. If Aloe can impact cancer, imagine what it can do to improve common allergy
symptoms like:
- fatigue and brain fog
- lung and nasal issues
- itchy eyes and throat
- gas, bloating and skin flare-ups
and factors associated with allergies:
- digestion, constipation and bowel health
- reaction to pollen and other airborne allergens
- antibiotics and prescription drug reliance
Aloe Provides Flavonoids and Aids Nutrient Absorption
Incredibly, the whole leaf Aloe Vera plant contains over 100
actives, including Yellow Sap which works quickly as a digestive bitter
supporting stomach acid. Together with other essential properties, it improves
vital core nutrient absorption, while easing occasional indigestion
discomfort and revving up the body’s metabolism.
Aloe Vera has an acidic pH which helps to encourage the body to secrete the exact amounts of hydrochloric acid to improve digestion and absorption. Many allergy sufferers have weak digestion which does not allow the body to receive the nutritional benefits from foods and supplements.
Whole leaf aloe can help to provide relief from allergic responses by strengthen connective tissue called collagen. Weak collagen tissue in nasal passages, lung tissues, and intestinal
tract cell walls allow foreign invaders to enter the blood stream and
cause an allergy response.
By drinking whole leaf Aloe Vera juice daily, you are providing the
body with needed flavonoids (plant phyto-nutrients,) and you may begin to reverse
allergy sensitivity.
Once these flavonoids and other nutrients are absorbed at the cellular level, the
body can support collagen and tissue structure development to screen out the
allergies. The glycomannan complex, present in whole leaf aloe vera, helps to provide additional strengthening of tissue cell walls.
Natural anti-inflammatory and analgesics, found in the yellow sap,
help to reduce swelling, pain and skin irritation. Campesterol,
B-sitosterol, lupeol, and salicylic acid help to promote additional
allergy relief.
